Has this ever happened to you？
You’re minding your own business after the game， buying drinks at the bar for your teammates when you overhear a woman talking on the phone。 You don’t know her， but she’s telling her mother she’s in a serious relationship with you。 You decide to play along and ask her when you get to meet the parents。 She’s embarrassed and apologetic but explains she’s just trying to appease her meddling mother。 No harm， no foul。 She’ll tell them you’re busy with hockey obligations and can’t meet them for dinner， but she’s also really pretty and you’re single so you decide what the heck， it’s just dinner， right？

SWOON SWOON SWOON！ I couldn’t put this book down。 My cheeks hurt from the smile I had the whole entire time I read it。 Quinton and Kinsleys chemistry was just a chefs kiss。 The banter was top tier。 I literally couldn’t get enough of it！ I read this as a standalone but I will now be going back to the beginning of the series and reading them all！ This author really put her all into this hockey romcom。 👏🏼

I was lucky enough to read this as an arc。 Every time I read a Susan Renee book i can hardly wait to read what crazy antics or hilarious banter she will come up with for her characters。 She is the queen of coming up with both to have me laughing to tears。 This book was no different。 fantastic chemistry between the fmc and mmc as well as great banter and had me laughing more than once。 Fake dating done right。 a must read！

Do you want a story with relatable characters？ This is it！！！ I loved everything about this story especially how the characters connected。 Kinsley was a very relatable character， really a great FMC。 Quentin and the hockey boy gang always makes me smile。 I love getting in the locker room and seeing them interact。 Read all of these books but this one is a definite must！
